About Dr. Yang

I obtained my doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver. I took the opportunity there to train in various mental health settings, including community mental health, group practice, and hospitals. Afterwards, I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at The Menninger Clinic.

I have had the joy of working at Menninger for eight years as a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. My time at Menninger has allowed me to grow professionally in my field while also extending beyond my usual focus, including serving as the Division Coordinator and then Interim Program Director for the Adult Inpatient Division. Lastly, I am deeply devoted to DEI and was the Faculty Liaison for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Menninger and Baylor.
